There are only two ways to improve your cash flow and they work equally well. You can increase your income or you can decrease your expenses.

It should not take more than 10-15 minutes to complete. Round up your expenses- a "budget" plan for natural gas of $107 can become $110. Don't underestimate the total cost to run your household and to have some fun.

 

Have a calculator handy for those expenses you may incur not monthly, but every 6 or 12-months. Include money for recurring expenses for home upkeep and maintenance.
