The chicken or the egg? It matters to your retirement!
I'm not sure which came first when it comes to scrambled eggs and chicken sandwiches.
But I know what HAS TO COME FIRST when you are planning your retirement. Unfortunately, too many people are focused on something they can't control and that causes them emotional stress; sometimes leading to poor decisions.
30-year old, or 58-year old, or 76-year old, everyone needs to get one thing first.
The first thing for each of these individuals is A PLAN.
A plan that you're the boss of.
It needs to be a plan that you understand well enough to explain to a friend.
A plan for retirement that shows you where you are making great decisions and where you can benefit from improvements and more appropriate strategies.
It doesn't matter what "level" of finances you have. Good and bad decisions and strategies happen to those beginning their retirement journey and those who have a sizable nest egg in hand.
I think I offer a really good retirement plan to my clients. The approach of planning for the next ten years has allowed many clients to weather short-term storms knowing contingencies were made for such times. Short term planning, on the other hand, can result in decisions not beneficial for long-term goals.
For anyone interested, I have annotated, and color coded a sample of my Retirement Income Projection. After 40-years I would hope I've finally gotten it right.
If you'd like to see the sample report (the result of three or more meetings/phone calls, gathering and refining accurate information) all you have to do is ask. Call-text-email-visit the website. No cost or obligation. It is a PDF after all!
You can then get your "numbers" on a personalized Projection if you want.
If you'd like to compare your current Retirement Income Plan to ours, call me at 419-495-8700. I do promptly return calls if your call unfortunately goes to v-mail.
Be well! Fred
